EC Meter, Hanna Romania

$0.00
Product Description:

HI 993310 is an instrument that has been specifically designed to address the question of correct and rapid measurement of conductivity in soil and liquids. It is supplied complete with two probes, HI 76305 with a stainless steel, conic tip for direct soil measurement, and HI 76304 for fertilizer enriched solutions.

HI 993310 measures both the soil conductivity in EC (mS/cm) as well as salt activity in grams per liter. The different scales can be selected through two keys on the front mask and two separate LED lights indicate which parameter is being tested. In addition, HI 993310 is equipped with an alarm LED that automatically turns on if the soil is too dry, or nutritive substances such as potassium or nitrogen are lacking. In the former case, de-mineralized water is to be added to the soil prior to proceeding with further tests. Direct soil measurement is facilitated by the small diameter, stainless steel, pointed HI 76305 probe. Once inserted into the ground, the user just needs to wait until the meter displays the value read by the auger-like probe.

Total hardness test kit

$2,500.00

Description-

Titration is used to find the concentration of an identified chemical in a solution (e.g., water).

In our standard Titration kits, there will be a Titrant solution that is added to the solution (e.g., water) to be tested to make it change colour. The Reagent is then added under monitored conditions.

Water Hardness Test Kit

The HI-3812 test kit tests the hardness level as mg/L (ppm) calcium carbonate, via an EDTA (ethylene-diamine-tetraacetic acid) titration. Range (0.0-30.0 mg/L) (0-300 mg/L).

During testing, when colour change is achieved, under careful conditions – usually using a burette – the reagent is added, drop by drop, until the solution turns to the colour required. The user will then count how many drops of reagent were used to achieve complete colour change. The number of drops used will determine the chemical concentration and results can be found in the manual included.

Water hardness has traditionally been defined as the capacity of water to precipitate soap. The ionic species in the water causing the precipitation was later found to be primarily calcium and magnesium. In the present, therefore, water hardness is actually a quantitative measure of these ions in the water sample. It is also now known that certain other ion species, such as iron, zinc and manganese, contribute to the overall water hardness. The measure and subsequent control of water hardness is essential to prevent scaling and clogging in water pipes.

Hanna pH meter; Bench type, HI-2211

$0.00

Product Details

The HI2211 is a basic affordable pH/mV benchtop meter. Operation is simplified to calibration, mode selection (pH or mV), and a last stored reading feature. The HI2211 has a selection to choose between pH and mV modes. The mV mode is used with an optional ORP electrode that is used to check the oxidation or reduction potentials of a solution. Hanna offers a variety of ORP electrodes from glass to PEI plastic body styles. The mV mode of the HI2211 is also useful in checking the offset and slope of the pH electrode. Understanding the offset and slope characteristic is helpful in knowing if the probe is functioning correctly.

The HI2211 has a separate inputs for a BNC pH electrode and thermistor temperature probe. The BNC connector is a universal connector that is commonly available and allows the user to select from a wide variety of pH and ORP electrodes for their particular application. The separate temperature probe provides for a high 0.5°C accuracy measurement for precise temperature compensation
