Cement Testing – Standardized Sand Specifications
CHARACTERISTICS
Graded sand is composed of local natural siliceous sands (silica content 99%) with a water content of less than 0.1%. The constituent grains of these sands are uncrushed, rounded in shape. This sand is used to test cements according to ASTM C 109.
The sand is packaged in 25 kg bags.
Deliveries are made individually and on pallets of 2 to 40 bags, protected by reinforced cardboard.
CONTROLS
The granularity of graded sand is fixed by standard ASTM C 778 and determined according to standard EN 933-1. The average production control is:

This sand has been certified in accordance with the ASTM C778 20-30 standard by the TERRACON laboratory (Texas). These checks are carried out by the SNL laboratory. They are the subject of a certificate per delivery.
