Full range of detectors with excellent sensitivity and linearity ranges: FID, TCD, ECD, NPD and MS.
Cold septum, purgeless injector eliminates septum bleeding so septum purge is not required and column integrity is maintained. Leak tight injector prevents loss of volatiles, improving detection limits and reproducibility. Use of a straight liner enables fast transfer of the high boiling analytes to the column head. No possibility of back diffusion of atmospheric oxygen or water through the septum purge flow, which could oxidise or hydrolyse very labile samples in the hot GC injector.
Pressure resolution: 0.0015 PSI. Extended pressure and flow operating ranges deliver a choice of true flow or pressure programming. Up to 5 ramps and free selection of carrier gas reduces analysis time.
Low inertia, high precision oven (±0.1°C displayed) with an expanded temperature range allows for ultra fast heating and cooling. It is isolated in a forced-air circulating chamber for better temperature stability.
Upgraded oven-flap design achieves optimal temperature control.
PG integration software provides full automation and also controls the auto injector, allowing any combination of injector sequences and providing a simple tool for data acquisition, processing and report generation. It meets all the requirements of GLP/GMP, acquisition, integration, calibration and reporting under 21 CFR part 11.
Pneumatics with high accuracy A/D converter.
User friendly interface with touch screen, interactive programming and menu driven windows.
Built-in web server with full remote control via internet and TCP/IP communication.
ICP 5000 ICP OPTICAL EMISSION SPECTROMETER
PG Instruments – a leader in the development of first class scientific instruments –is pleased to introduce its brand new ICP 5000.
The ICP 5000 offers Low Detection limits with a wide analytical working range, enhanced stability and fast collection of quantitative and qualitative analytical data.
Features & Functions
Optical System
The Purged Spectrometer in the ICP 5000 has
a focal length of 0.4m and a spectral wavelength range of 165 – 900nm. The Spectrometer has an Echelle grating and Prism Cross Dispersion System which allows the simultaneous display of all spectral lines in a single exposure and the analysis of the complete spectrum in a compact area. The thermally stabilised optical system is argon purged to allow the analysis of elements in the far UV.
Detection System
The detection system is a CCD (Charged Coupled Device) 1024 x 1024 Pixels (CCD Pixel Size 24µm x 24µm). The high speed acquisition system provides for simultaneous Full-Spectrum reading and real-time single pixel sub-array monitoring allowing very fast analysis.
Sampling System
The sample introduction system is via a multi-channel (4 channel) 12 roller peristaltic pump (controlled via the software). A Quartz Torch, cyclonic spray chamber and a concentric glass nebuliser are supplied as standard (Further options available on request).
The FP902 is a competitively priced flame emission photometer for the analysis of Na, K, Ca, Li and Ba in a variety of matrices. The instrument uses a soft touch key pad for ease of data entry and features electronic ignition, automatic flame failure safety and will operate using propane, natural gas or LPG.
Flame photometry provides a simple method of analysis and concentration determination of elements which
cannot easily be measured using any other technique. PG instruments application notes for users of our versatile new flame photometers cover a wide range of industrial sectors, from food and drink to cement, minerals and glass, as well as agricultural, biological and clinical applications.
