BOD BOTTLE

These biological oxygen demand (B.O.D.) bottles are used to determine the amount of oxygen required during stabilization of decomposing organic matter by aerobic action. They are made from borosilicate glass for higher chemical resistance and have a 300 mL capacity.

Clear bottles have a permanently screened, expanded marking area for accurate sample identification and break-resistant acrylic stoppers. Black plastisol-coated bottles block light rays for use in marine photosynthesis projects where light/dark bottle oxygen comparisons are required.
